 Custom Pine Mantle. I just finished up this mantle for a restored farm house. It is 8' long, 12" deep and 3" thick. The saw marks give it an older, rustic look and the live edge front gives it extra character.

 The rustic mantle is finished with four coats of Vermont Natural Coatings, Heirloom Wipe On finish. This clear Poly-Whey brings out the grains and knots while giving it exceptional protection. Leaving the inner cambium layer of bark gives the piece some nice contrast. This was cut from local NH Pine.
