Custom Cedar Arbor

On Monday we installed this custom Cedar Arbor at a beautiful historic home in Allstead, NH. The legs are securely buried in the ground so that it can not be knocked over by wind. It is very sturdy with tenoned pieces in the sides and top as well as angle braces. It was finished with a water sealer that would allow it to weather naturally. In The Work Shop

I am just finishing up a custom order, rustic Cedar arbor. This arbor features Cedar logs tenoned and bolted in for an extremely sturdy structure. It will be installed in East Allstead, NH. and the bottom will be sunken into the ground for full stability. I will be adding a water sealer to give it some extra protection from the elements but also allow it to weather to a silver gray, which is the look the client is going for. I will add some pictures when we have it in place next week.
