Rustic Cabin Rental

Rustic cabin retreat for rent! For the first time this cute little cabin on Hastings Mesa, in Placerville Colorado, is available for long term rental. This is the perfect spot for your weekend get aways! It sits on 10 private acres with incredible views of the San Juan Mountains. There is no running water or electricity, and only has an outhouse. In the winter you must ski, snowshoe, or snowmobile in, basically it's your own back country hut. There is a wood stove and furnishings for your use. It sits at over 9,000 ft. and is close to Telluride, Ridgway, Ouray, and Montrose. There is room for camping or parking a small RV, in addition to the cabin. Hike, bike, ski, snowshoe, or just sit and watch the wildlife pass by. This rustic cabin, in the popular Telluride area, is now available for rent. Twig Signs

I just finished up another twig/Adirondack style sign for a customer. This custom order was a street sign look, made on a 1" by 5" piece of rough cut Pine. The letters, which spelled out Hunter's Park, were made from White Birch branches. I provided a post for the rustic sign and finished the project with several coats of exterior polywhey finish.

Rustic Cabin Retreat

Stowe, Vermont- Wonderful Rustic style cabin for rent in the beautiful town of Stowe, Vermont. This is a small, off the grid cabin in the forest. The log structure overlooks a pond making it a naturally relaxing spot to unwind. At the same time you are only minutes from all that Stowe has to offer, including skiing, hiking, biking, great night life and dining, and so much more. See Stowe in a different way, out of the noisy motel room, in your own private cabin. Visit

http://www.vrbo.com/136732 for more details and photos. I have enjoyed this cabin for years, and have also done many rustic projects at the site. If you visit the cabin you will find log and twig railings (inside and out), a log ladder, tables, benches, bunk beds, coat racks and more that I built custom for the retreat. This cabin is for the more adventurous traveler, but the rewards of being "off the beaten path" are numerous. Check it out at VRBO and enjoy your rustic travels!
