In the Workshop

Greetings! Just completed, this is a rustic armoire/cabinet for hanging jackets and putting boots etc... It was a custom order for a family that needed some storage in a small living space. It is made out of local White Pine rough cut shiplap boards. The outside is rougher and the inside is smooth. It was made to look as if it could have been made long ago, when people had to make there own things and cared more about function than impressing the neighbors. The wood has slight variations in thickness, as well as saw marks and weathered areas. It stands over 70" tall with a wood rod inside to hang clothes. The finish on this rustic project is a single coat of spar urethane that will darken over time. To check out more great rustic furnishings visit our website www.RusticFurnitureGallery.com
